"I am still working on the  interpretation 2012 observations, including 3-D hydrodynamical  modeling, to explain what we saw.

I noticed that recently CH Cyg seems to be brighter in V and B (up to V6ish).
It is about V=7 now. I anticipate a possible outburst soon.

Do you have any recent spectra  (from the past year)?

Any possibility to monitor it spectroscopically  for few weeks?
Once a week would be great!

Coordinates: RA 19 24 33.07  Dec. +50 14 29.1 (J2000.0)"

Margarita calls up to increase monitoring on behalf of the amateurs in the spectral ranges of the previous 2012 campaign

I was able to observe the night following her message and I was able to notice that it was actually very bright and widely on the range of our instrument. The peculiarity of CH cyg spectra is to be at the same time a spectre of cold star hot star and nebular outflow. This complex object is still the subject of numerous recent publications and studies to come.
