Dauban Survey, opportunity for low resolution spectroscopy
ENGLISH
Dauban Survey was created by Jerôme Caron and François Kugel at some cable lengths of the OHP. Already hundreds of discoveries of new variables of every type in a few months, to such a point that in agreement with the AAVSO they edit their own on-line catalog!
Beside ours workshop on pulsating stars, one morning at the house Jean Perrin, François shown this presentation of their photometric survey, what convinced me to incite the amateurs in spectroscopy and especially those who are equipped in low resolution to collaborate in this unique survey.

It stays for the spectroscopy to make the spectral type and for the variables of unknown nature to follow spectral variations to differentiate pulsating, eclipsing or eruptive variable stars. It is especially for Lisa or Alpy, low resolution in genral, there is material for tens of publication, and a serious work for low resolution amateur spectroscopy.
